wolvesaussie
Hi , I want to make my model railway based on the West Midlands 2000 - 2014 as I spent that period there (now in Australia). I have been purchasing Central Trains/London Midland/Virgin/Arriva Wales passanger trains (still want to add Cross Country and Chiltern) I am wondering what to do for Freight, as I didnt take any notice of them to be honest. I think I saw a lot of EWS trains around, but I am not sure if I saw them there or elsewhere along the line on my train journeys. Is EWS the way to go? Or should I be looking at something else. wolvesaussie
There is a really good deal on a Hornby DB Train at the moment at Hattons which is apparently a repainted EWS train, wondering if that would be a good choice for the WM's
alibuchan
Any freightliner, DRS, EWS or GBRf (lower numbers) class 66, most liveries of class 60 and EWS class 67s. It all depends on what freight traffic you are modelling. Alistair
