Edwardian
Flat lifeless detail with a total lack of texture. I suppose it depends upon the amount of time and effort applied to the task. But, each to his own. As I think has already suggested, the RTP Highley might be your best bet for a substantial stone structure. Jeff Smith
Simples then. swiftbeam
Thank you Edwardian, you have clearly gone to a lot of trouble to 'show me the light' and change my opinion on card. It would be rude of me to shun your efforts, so thank you. I have now changed my mind and I am now fully converted to the medium of card and will now use it for everything. Thanks :-)
RailWest
Because it was built before the GW took over the line. Hmm.... maybe, but - apart from being designed by Brereton, so a GWR conenction there, surely? - it was extended rebuilt by the GWR itself for the opening of their new line towards Taunton.
gobbler
How you getting on with your station build? Shame you don't model the eastern region I have scratch built Southminster using loads of photo reference, artistic license and loads of Wills/Ratio sheets.
