AMJ
On Saturday afternoon I was chatting with a friend who lives on the island. He mentioned that there had been an issue with the brakes on a Snaefell tram. This resulted in the line being closed and the inspector has imposed a speed limit on the section from the Bungalow to the summit. RMweb Gold Tim Hall Posted August 22, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 22, 2017 Bit behind the news there?....all over and done with bar an investigation. The closure was one afternoon. Speeds reduced from 12 to 8 mph. Had a trundle there on 17th Aug. Very steady coming down. They are being monitored according to a snatch of conversation I heard between the brakesman and another punter, but didn't hear how or by whom.
