theflyingspanner
Hi Alan, What value do you have in CV53=? Wiggy. hello thanks for the reply cv53 =
wiggy1
hello thanks for the reply cv53 = 125 OK, CV53=125 will give 12.5 volts, I very much doubt if there is anything wrong in Bif's file and more likely to do with the loco its self or the decoder. If you have 11 of these locos try putting that decoder in a known good loco and that locos decoder in the problem loco and see what you get and that will eliminate one or the other. If you find its the decoder that is the problem I would email Bif or Charlie for their further advice. Hope this helps. Wiggy.
Pete the Elaner
Loksound v4 includes a 'tuning' option. I tried this on my HST & it limited it to a scale 30mph. I had JMRI running though so was able to see what it does: It creates a custom speed curve according to what it detects is best. JMRI also gave me the chance to reverse the changes easily. wiggy1
The auto tune will over ride any settings on the BEMF that Bif has put into his sound file. Although a very good way to tune your loco it can throw other settings out that have been manually tuned for more realistic control and running. One example is it can throw the chuff settings out but as Bif does not do steam thats not relevant. Wiggy.
