Mk1 RU and RFO marshalling

Hi,

I'm sorry this may seem a daft question but, would've there been a preferable way to marshal an RU and RFO? Would it be preferable to have the RFO next to the "kitchen" end of the RU so it would be central for serving, or am I just being a little OCD and it didn't really matter?

I'd think that would be the normal way to do things. The other way would place the far end of the RFO a long way from the kitchen.

 

Nothing OCD about your query, it just demonstrates an interest in practical operational arrangements.

There were very few RFOs and of those not all were on regions that had RUs but the general approach was kitchen end next to open used for dining.
