Also mentioned in Andy's BRM thread, as the digital edition is delayed to Monday as it contains details.

It is good to have something modelling wise to look forward to , I think it's been a bit flat recently. Hopefully it's OO and something Scottish for a change

Based on absolutely no science, fact or even trackside rumour, not even conjecture, gossip or scriptures..

I am 100% convinced it won't be either a class 124 trans-penine or an L&Y dreadnought 4-6-0.

We will also have full details of the announcements on here at noon on Monday including images and video content.

Now if there is video content, that means they already reached a fair stage that some prototype samples exist at least.

Video could equally hint that it is a moving item, so self propelled.

Now - there were hints in the past from Hatton's on Fell loco drawings. And the fact that I have obtained all parts to scratch build one increases this probability of it being that.

GT3 is also next on the list.

More remotely, a class 89 (wishful thinking on my part).

It could just be me talking to someone about the projects of course.

Any of those but preferably all!

The silhouette on the front of the next BRM looks like Hardwicke (but that might just be Andy teasing us?)

Some form of 2-4-0 tender engine, judging from the silhouette, it could be a Midland Railway class 156.

Equally they may been inspired by this Ratio kit http://www.hattons.co.uk/152040/Ratio_5778Ratio_LMS_Johnson_2_4_0_Locomotive_Tender_Kit/StockDetail.aspx

Assuming Andy has not modified the cover image, then - if it is this - the question remains as to which scale.... Such a loco would look nice in both OO and O gauge.

I could really do with a 4mm version of this - a conversion of a saddle tank version of a 1861 2-4-0 Geo England tender loco. - to shunt my Highbridge Wharf style project!  http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/gallery/image/74223-sdjr-2-4-0t/

That definitely isn't 'Hardwicke' as certain features are very wrong for that engine.  I reckon the answer adds up to 12 and it might have hint from an ad which talks about things being 'utterly' ...

But whichever and whatever it appears that someone else is latching on to the view that 'pretty Pre-Grouping' sells.

Seeing as the last-but-one prototype of the Rapido single was criticised by some for looking like Hardwicke, maybe Hattons are having a go at the single?
