rue_d_etropal
Always getting suggestions, some of which I actually take one. I have had my modular range of building bits for a while, but only up to OO scale. Any bigger and price goes up a lot, and a lot of the parts of a typical town building are easy enough to cratchbuild. The difficult part is the shop front, and someone asked if I coulup them to 1/43 then added 1/35 as well. It was something I had considered, but this time I would simplify the design, as it did not need to work with other sections, and I could also increase detail, such as barley twist window supports. After a play around I came up with these and then I wondered about a corner shop, again I had wanted to do this,, and plan to also do this in smaller scales with reduced detail, and possibly a r2p building. All a bit angular, so I am tempted to try a design with curved glass in windows, not uncommon in entrances to shop.
BrushType4
Hi Simon, Whats the finish like on these?
rue_d_etropal
Perfect for model buildings. Buildings should not be too smooth. If necessary it is dead easy to smooth down a bit.
