Jongudmund
I was going to comment on the Tesco exclusive BOGOF deal but I see its been done. Not sure who was moaning about not industrial railways content but the first article the mag fell open at was about the prototype of Molly the Sentinel. dibber25
The opening Big Picture is part of the re-design. Not sure if the repeat of the pic is intentional or if there was a 'disconnect' between the designing of the two sections. (CJL) It was a slip-up. dibber25
Thanks for taking the trouble to follow this up and reply Chris. Mike It actually hadn't been noticed until, prompted by you, I queried it. So many aspects to look at with a major revamp that you can sometimes miss the obvious. Steps taken to avoid a repeat. faulcon1
An interesting editorial about the 'warts 'n all' review of the Oxford Dean Goods and confirming the line MR takes in its reviews. I bought this magazine on a recent holiday in the UK and yes the review of the Oxford Rail's Dean Goods is very in depth. It maybe just me but I got the feeling that the model hasn't been built to a standard but to a price as there are many compromises with it. Some have said that Model Rail is "in bed" with model railway manufacturers but this review proves that they are definitely not.
