Standard 00 dimentions

Does anyone work from a standard template / dimensions when creating their bodies in 00 scale? For the motors?

Select a the largest motor that will fit the space available.

Not for 00 gauge and not for trains but I use a set of standard dimensions for adapting Tomytec Moving Bus System chassis to a variety of bus models. The chassis (4 varieties) occupy a fixed space. Depending on what you want to do you might find that you could use a standard template for motor, gearbox and final drive, but you might have to rearrange the fit between the three depending on the body or chassis you are fitting them into.
