Y Ddewin gwyn
Hello all; I'm emerging from my periodic railway modelling slumber and I want to know if anyone has any experience of building kits from 88D model kits? To my lasting delight there is a source of some Rhymney Railway models that I can actually order online, but I wouldn't mind getting a heads up from anyone who has built one of their kits. Living in a land of exiled Celts means that I don't get to exhibitions in the UK where the wonderful wares of smaller UK manufacturers are available to me! RMweb Premium NCB Posted October 1, 2017 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 1, 2017 Never heard of them before. But the Rhymney S1 pictured on their web site looks a very neat model.
Y Ddewin gwyn
Doesn't it just! The fit looks really good. I would be thinking about back-dating it to an S.
newport_rod
I haven't built one but I held one of their kits for an GWR ex-RR A/A1 in my hands last week and it looked like a good kit. I've heard good reports of the way they go together too.

I am also in touch with S7 group with a view to making my range of kits S7 friendly. Check my website http://www.88d.uk/pups/News.asp for news as to where I'm at with this. RMweb Gold RThompson Posted January 31, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 31, 2018 You may even have a market for 4mm scale kits, the fittings should be easily available from other sources provided they are standard Swindon fittings of course saving yourself time and expense. Just a thought.
