enginelane
Deffors is the first layout built for exhibition by one of the club’s younger members. He is currently assisting with the building of Lancaster Green Ayre. He has designed and built his own layout and constructs his locos by using the second hand parts, salvage and a lot of skill. Rm viewers will have seen his work on his thread, now the opportunity to see his stock and layout for the first time at the show

enginelane
Club rooms full of all the gear that is needed to put on an exhibition, last of the PAT testing tonight, banners found hiding in the loft, number of tea bags and jars of coffee calculated, biscuits checked for end dates and the myriad of questions and answers made and replied. So putting it out there now, Wakefield Show is as about ready as it gets for its 56 th Show, an excellent collection of layouts coupled with excellent trade support
