RMweb Premium jjb1970 Posted October 8, 2017 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 8, 2017 Apologies if this is already posted but I can't find it, but does the thread ignore button actually do anything please? I've tried using it and whilst a red flag appears on the thread nothing else changes, I thought it might hide the thread or something, many thanks. Miss Prism
Not sure what you mean by 'red flag on the thread'.
RMweb Premium jjb1970 Posted October 8, 2017 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted October 8, 2017 When I look at the forum area with all the threads/topics listed, if I press ignore a red flag or button appears beside the thread title in that list. Miss Prism
Yes, I see what you mean now. The 'thread ignore' function applies only to 'view new content' and 'content I follow', as far as I know. The threads are still listed in their 'forum area listings', so that they can be un-ignored if desired.
RMweb Premium Ian J. Posted October 8, 2017 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 8, 2017 Yes, ignored threads are removed from search results (such as VNC) but still sit visible in the normal forum views, and marked as ignored.
