jolt5
Hey guys, i'm looking for some assistance in identifying the location of this picture. it looks far more like Haymarket depot to me but I would just like someone to help me be certain. thanks Jolt5 http://dieselimagegallery.com/detail/166-Class-40;40;Type-4;English-Electric;Whistler;40142;D342;Rail-Blue;Blue;RB;Longsight;LO;751977;1977;40142-1-N;21378;Jim-Binnie.html

pH
I can see the point of your question. Here's a very similar photo from 1963, definitely taken at Haymarket (I took it): https://www.flickr.com/photos/80572914@N06/7885539786/in/album-72157630995842368/ Obvious differences: - track is not inset in older photo - no frame over the right-hand track in older photo - leftmost roof gable is significantly different But the arrangement of the buildings and the rooflines (apart from the left-hand gable noted) are a match.
