Ruston
Can someone please explain this? As most people will be aware, Photobucket held a lot of people's photos to ransom a few months ago. I spent a lot of time editing my own layout topics to delete the photobucket links and to reinstate the photos by uploading them to RMweb's own photo hosting. Where I have done this everything appears as it should but I have just gone to one of my threads to copy a photo. Usually to do this you click on the photo and up it pops in a new tab with a useful little thing on it to save it but that didn't happen. Instead up popped Photobucket, which, being the pain in the arse that it has become, won't allow me to even see the photo... But, hang on, the photos are no longer hosted there, they are hosted here on RMweb! I even went into the post with the "full editor" to check and they are definitely not linked to photobucket, so what's going on? Free At Last
Your post still appears to contain some photobucket urls, maybe if they were deleted it may solve your problem.
BG John
Very strange. This is how the photos appear for me. Clicking on the first one opens Photobucket, and I see the third photo Clicking on the middle on brings it up in the normal window Clicking on the third one opens Photobucket, and I see the first photo I've got a Firefox plugin that bypasses the Photobucket blockade, but I thought it wasn't working! If you look at the BBcode, by clicking on the switch in the top left of the editing toolbar, there might be something odd about the code, that may still have a link in it to PB. If you can understand it!

Pbucket.JPG That's very strange. When I edit the topic there is nothing there that shouldn't be. All that shows in the "full editor" is my text and the RMweb attachments, so if I can't see it then I can't delete it.

If you can understand it! Got it! I have never used that before (haven't a clue what BBC code is) but when I clicked on that it showed the old photobucket links. which, for some reason didn't show up in the normal edit mode. brossard
I had PB for the longest time and hated every second. Slow, clunky and very frustrating. I can heartily recommend Flickr. What's this about a RMWeb hoster? John

It's amazing how many people read BBcode as BBC code. RMweb is a Bulletin Board in olde fashioned computer speak, and BBcode stands for Bulletin Board Code. It's got nothing to do with Auntie at Broadcasting House!
