Mine arrived this morning.

Castles in traffic part 5

St Ives Station in detail

Newbury Racecourse goods train operations

GWR concrete bin

Titley and Bullock's Mill crossing in 1947-48

Traffic at Birmingham Snow Hill part 7

1617 on the Abingdon

Letters

Next issue will be due ... send them a small SAE and they will use that to notify you of the details near the due date. New issues are unlikely to go to newsagents.

Will the small SAEs end up in the GWR concrete bin?

I suppose the likelihood of ongoing specials depends on how many SAEs they get.  Better send one in. folks!

Hi,

Could you please clarify - is GW Journal going to continue periodically on some kind of subscription basis.......or have I misunderstood? I thought 103 was the be the final GWJ of all time.....

Andy.

No. There will be one-off specials from time to time. If enough readers buy them, they will continue, otherwise they won't.

Picked up a copy from my local newsagents, half a doz on the top shelf, next to a few copies of MRJ!

"No. 103 November 2017".  Its almost as bad as Nationalisation......  :jester:

Oh well, I'll peruse it with a nice mug of drinking chocolate and some giant shortbread fingers this evening, accompanied by the local loons setting off 100 shot firework boxes in competition with each other.  :triniti:
