Some more progress made this weekend - both tracks to the turntable now connected in and wires soldered on to the loco depot headshunt, and a dodgy point at the end of Platform 3 replaced.

 

On the downside, the point where the double track becomes single at Llanbadarn started losing electrical continuity (as the main feed to the layout is on the single track at Llanbadarn crossing, this effectively stopped the layout working!). I found a point motor with a twin microswitch in my bag of point motors so now fitted and wired in and trains can run again.
