You'll have to wait until the (now) 81 days are up!! I know such "teasers' are trendy - but 81 days is a bit OTT. More likely to annoy rather than intrigue potential customers I would think, which is a shame as it's likely to be a good development. LBRJ
30/31st of January next year. What can be so good that they think I am that interested to sit and wait that long? Probably nothing much at all, and then I will forever have a low opinion of the firm for ever more....too much ""marketing"" is never a good idea.....Unless you think FB or something such is reality.

cal.n
The best part of 3 months to wait, hopefully it's going to be the model of the century! In that case, the Bachmann 158s going to be amazing. Their website just shows a photo of a CIE hopper model with the text 'Test product'. Is that a mistake?
BG John
Why stop at Irish standard gauge (?), how about a RTP P4 28mm gauge with DCC tipping top hats I hope not. The correct gauge is 28.08mm. There's enough hassle with incompatible gauges in 4mm scale already. We could end up with the well established Broad Gauge Society using 28.08mm, and a new Society of the Broad Gauge for those using 28mm.
RMweb Gold Popular Post Accurascale Fran Posted November 12, 2017 RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted November 12, 2017 Hi everyone, Firstly, an introduction; my name is Fran and I’m a part of Irish Railway Models, a company formed by a group of four modellers here on the Emerald Isle to bring RTR Irish outline wagons to the market as we felt there was a niche that needed filling. It appears we have been rumbled a bit, you clever folks! We are indeed behind a new brand called Accurascale, as some of our crew (myself included) have a love for British outline. The countdown clock is a bit of fun really, but we fully understand that the British market feels a bit let down in recent times with waiting around for models to appear. You will be delighted to hear that our approach to the market will be different in this regard. In 80 days we will formally announce our introductory range of items for the British market, complete with tooling samples. Thereafter, all our announcements will be made only when we have something tangible to show you all. This will help us to avoid those endless, frustrating waiting times for new models to show up. In the meantime, there will be teasers offered to what we are doing first, just for a bit of fun. Our factory in China is already beavering away on tooling for our first British models. We will be creating a range of items that will fill current gaps in demand where there are no RTR, or in some cases, kit items on offer. We will also be working on items that are crying out for upgrades. We understand that we are a new name to many of you, and that many of you may not be familiar with our models to date. However, we’re a friendly and approachable bunch who just want to bring accurate, highly detailed models to your layouts that you can enjoy. In the meantime, you can check out our Irish Cement ‘bubble’ wagons which are arriving from China so you can see what level of detail and quality you can expect from our forthcoming British range. I’ll be happy to answer any of your queries, too, though there will be no model reveal until the end of January I’m afraid. Thanks! Fran
