The tall controller
After seeing the cake box challenge and “silly moo moo” on YouTube I, in a characteristic bout of unfounded confidence, thought “hey, that looks fun, I should make an entry”! And now, after a quick check that I’m not plagiarizing, I have come up with my half-baked scheme for what I shall build. The diorama will be an N scale stretch of track running through a pine forest and over a river. At least, the tracks were running over a river, until the bridge gave out and sent two freight cars into the drink. A railway crane will be pushed to the sight of the acciden, where it will be preparing to lift the wreck up for salvag. (Apologies for the somewhat badly taken picture of my planning sketch.) NickBrad
Sounds interesting, not seen anyone attempt this as a diorama or full scene of a layout before.
The tall controller
Finally got around to working on this. I have my base cut out and the necessary rolling stock, next step is to carve out the river bed!

The tall controller
Now that I’ve carved out a river and mangled some spare track of mine, I can actually start to see the diorama come together! The next step will be building the collapsed bridge.
