Did you replace the wheelsets complete? Chris It is necessary to break the brake gear off the chassis to remove the keeper plate. I used Ultrascale wheels and then super glued the brake gear back on again. It works just fine and I have a second one to do. Regards Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Chris Sometimes it is possible to just pull the brake gear out but you should be prepared for breakage. I’ve done 2 to P4 with Ultrascales.
