I'll have to check it out in the Spring when the light gets better!  Now if they'd only improve the one at Crowcombe Heathfield........................!

Brian.

Agreed, and sound at Blue Anchor would be nice but I am guessing it's proximity to caravans and houses may preclude it.

Two have now gone up at Williton as well. http://www.wsr.org.uk/r-cam-wn1.   http://www.wsr.org.uk/r-cam-wn2.htm  NB looks like the link isn't fully working yet. http://www.wsr.org.uk/r-cam-wn1.htm

And Crowcombe upgraded as well.

Blue Anchor now has sound - great and Williton also has sound - brilliant for diesel fans.

I just wish I lived near this line, my employers have dealings in the area but I don't travel there enough to be able to visit this line.

Stock move ready for the Christmas specials to begin tomorrow

I'm liking the new cameras. Hymek and Class 33 on shed with a shunter. :)

Jason

Did you see the coach arrive on a low loader?

There is a second 33 out and about somewhere - it left Williton on Monday taking some wagons with it, was stabled in the station at Bishops Lydeard overnight and I've not seen it since, the shunter was in use yesterday at Minehead.

No. Just had a little peek at the cameras to see if anything was happening and to check out the new cameras.

I was wondering whether something was running as the signal at Crowcombe is at clear.

They close out a box during quiet periods so Crowcombe is often clear - they only bring it into use when they have a reasonable level of service.

The clue must be in her surname

Webcams at Williton still off, must be pay to play, more Carol services tonight, she's a busy lady.

Looking at my last post of the 33 spoil train there is a joke in there about a lot of broken wood today but i must resist.  :jester:

I wasn't able to post the screengrab of the 33 at Crowcombe just now, but it was great to watch the p-way action!

That most likely the tidy train in action clearing all sleepers/rails/timber etc to make the railway tidy for the next season. I ran yesterday and today and most likely other dates as well over winter.

That makes sense - it looked like sundry chunks of well-weathered crud piled on flat wagons.  It actually resembled a post-closure S&T stripping train!
