Crimble Cakebox

Well, it's not a serious piece of railway modelling, but here are a couple of images of the BRM 'Christmas cakebox', as made by me in the scant moments between trying to bang out the latest issue.

Big thanks to Doug Kightley (of 'Forth Bridge' Fame) for 3D printing the Santa and Reindeer models, which are body shells to the T Gauge coach and power unit beneath - or would be if the power unit had arrived in time. I painted them as best as I could.

The hill is a big old lump of expanded foam, cut and shaped. The trees are from Woodland Scenics, which I trimmed to different sizes. The house is a Severn Models brass kit, which was a pleasure to build - I'll put a light in it when I get the chance. The backscene was taken from an online image library, and the whole lot was drowned in snow scatter.

That's it - Happy Christmas everybody!
