Bachmann Blue Pullman service

Hi Guys, I would appreciate any advice as to how to service my Bachmann Blue pullman. I have removed the body but cannot gain access to grease the gear train or to oil the motor bearings. I would also like to adjust the wheel sets as the gauge is out causing derailments on Peco code 75 curved points.

Regards John.

There may be some details on my Blog that help.

You need to know that the stub axles are a push fit and can be pulled out of the central plastic gear - makes adjusting the gauge of the wheel set a whole lot easier.
