A pair of Laira's bubble cars at Looe. 22nd August 1989 B431 has run through the buffers in the Down Trowbridge siding at Westbury. 15th October 1987. L204 departs Twyford with a Henley service. April 1990 L405 on a down train at Ruscombe April 1990 L407 leads a 6 car formation away from Twyford. The loco failed prior to departure, requiring a couple of large cans of oil, being wheeled into the loco, I suppose raising the oil pressure in the engine. Owd Bob Posted June 30, 2018 Share Posted June 30, 2018 Really enjoyed looking through all these this morning Iian many thanks for sharing, i love the Merehead open day pics' from '89 as i was there visiting with my then Girlfriend and now wife, we had many a return holiday in the area during the 1990's and often made a quick visit to Westbury station to do a bit of spotting. October 1986 and I've just enjoyed a bounce across the Kent marshes in 1011, from Hastings to Ashford. 35027 Port Line is seen at Sheffield Park 1989/90. 1st July 1990 and 37691 & 37800 depart Gloucester with an open day special. 50009 comes off the front of an up Exeter train at Salisbury. undated.
