As Editor of The UK Model Shops Directory I know the Exhibition program for 2018 has well and truly started so I thought it's about time I added my own Club's event to the pot.

This year marks the 50th Anniversary of the Club and to celebrate such an auspicious occasion we have 16 layouts on show including 6 from the Club itself. Highlights are Oakley from Roger Strike which exemplifies the steam era branch line, and Bear Creek Junction from Adrian Hall, a Warley National award winning American multi-gauge layout with stunning Colorado scenery.

 

Hope some of you get chance to drop in as we would welcome meeting up with friends old and new on this special occasion.

 

OPENING TIMES: SAT 10am - 5pm, SUN 10am - 4pm
ADMISSION: Adults £5.00 Concessions £4.00

DESCRIPTION: Accompanied children under 16 admitted free. Layouts, trade stands, preservation societies and audio visual presentations. Sandwiches, excellent cakes and light refreshments available. Ample free parking.

168 Erdington - Sutton Coldfield (Saturday Only)

X14 Birmingham - Sutton Coldfield

I’lm looking forward to being there with my little layout.

I’ll be there with Chebstone my small layout which is set in the South West in the 60s

 

The layout runs to a sequence (one being BR Western Region steam and the early Green Diesels)

 

All stock is DCC with sound and at long last most of the stock is now weathered.
