I always like a challenge, and a simple diorama was not enough for me(done plenty of that sort of stuff before). Initially I thought of a simle shunting layout, but then worked out tat I could get a whole circle of OO track, plus scenery on 3/4 of it, packed away into the cakebox. I would not do it this way again, and I opted for OO, so no-one would say it was only possible because I used a smaller scale.

It was taken to an exhibition a couple of weeks ago, and I had atrain runnig both days.

I sent some photos down to the magazine, but have had no reply, so posted a couple here. I had mentioned my plan to someone on BRM stand at Warley.

Given that one French company had now done a complete layout(to build) has been produced in a box, maybe some enterprising ompany should produce a trainset type layout(ie a simple crcle), with scenary sections to position, and this could then easily be set up on table, and more importatly packed away when it is necessary(ie tea time).
