Went spotting and managed to bag a 37 through the wire fence ,much better than a big brick wall lol

The Wire fencing kit is available from Nikki Wilkes

Brian

And very good it is. Nikki made it up for me for Tonfanau Camp.

Hi Brian, glad to see you back with the new layout, always jealous of the space you have but you need it now with the big boys toys. Well out of my price range.

Like the stone work and the broken wall, is that the Railway Archive book with all the bridges from Meadowhell to Barnsley. Is that a localy based 37, my old spotters books don't go back that far. You need a DMU, I never took much notice of them at the time but I should have been taking lots of close up photos.

Keep it up.

David

Update on the foundary

Need to tidy up around the windows and doors and weather the roof then onto the yard end

Waiting on a few bits coming to add to the main building to finish it with but coming on well I think

Hi Brian

Like so often on RMweb I've only just discovered this thread/topic and can I just say, absolutely sterling work so far.

It was the name of the thread that interested me, and maybe this is wishful thinking on my part but is it possible, given the location, that we might get treated to a "what-might-have-been" featuring bulletproof portals, with untensioned "third rail in the sky" dangling therefrom?

Looking forward to seeing your progress, and best regards.

I've been back a few pages but can't seem to find anything, not beyond the realms of possibility that I've missed it!, but what method of painting do you use on your stonework and brickwork?, I've got some (4mm) to do and yours looks most realistic.

Mike.

Absolutely cracking modelling....

Have been following your modelling forum since the start and it will be a shame to give up the existing layout but if the new one looks as good then we will be treated to something even better in the future...

Good luck with the new railway  :paint:
