Which Bachmann Steam Locos are manufactured to support a sound installation

Hi all

Whilst their website is being rebuilt I can't check this so

Are their any Bachmann Steam Locks that are manufactured to support a sound decoder and speaker.

I know of one the Ivatt 2 tank, which takes a Next18 decoder and has a proper location made in factory for a speaker with installation instructions included, but are there any others in their range.

I know they do this with many of their Diesels but what about Steam.

Thanks

Paul

The main clue is a 21 pin socket. On steam locos that's only fitted in the tender of tender locos, and from what I have seen those tenders with 21 pin sockets have an internal layout that includes a speaker location.

Whether it is universal I have no idea, but it looks as though the Next18 socket is used in the same way in tank engines. The V3 2-6-2T has Next18, and an internal layout that provides for a simple sound decoder and speaker installation, with outline instructions on the accompanying documentation.

Hattons' site is a good substitute for manufacturer infromation, as far as what they have in stock is concerned.
