I did fancy updating them to 1955 black, but I see Bachmann have made that possible now. Not a clue. But as already observed there is now this. http://www.hattons.co.uk/337568/Bachmann_Branchline_31_998_Class_D16_10001_in_BR_black_with_early_emblem/StockDetail.aspx Now, I don't know how you feel on this aspect, but given how easily Bach's tampo printing can usually be removed I'd take that as close enough to original condition for 10001; and 'originalise' it by wiping off the BR totem with a little white spirit. Possibly one side only, here it is in 'as introduced' condition, other side here it is a little later in BR service; after all you can only see one side at a time. If there are the LMS numbers and letters available to renumber to '10000' then this looks like a good starting point too. Presumably this production means the tools are now accessible to Bachmann, making unrestricted general releases possible? Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
