sem34090 Posted February 18, 2018 Share Posted February 18, 2018 A thought passed my mind earlier regarding the duplication of specific locomotives. Obviously almost all models made by the RTR manufacturers are duplicates of the same loco (I.e. countless thousands of LNER No. 4472's have been produced), but I began thinking about kitbuilt locos and as to whether anyone had a model almost completely identical to one of my kitbuilt locos. I envisage people posting locos of their own for other people to try and find a duplicate for, almost like a game of snap! So to start things off, before I get told this would be better in wheeltappers (I ummed and arred about where to put this!), I lay down the challenge for someone to find an almost exact match to the following model of mine: Wills Finecast ex-SECR P Class 0-6-0T No.1027 in Lined Southern Railway Green. This only really works with kit/scratch built models, as by their very nature RTR models are duplicates of the same individual loco. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
