ID backscenes

Does anyone know if its possible to join more than one ID backscenes or if they repeat, ie you can use more than one of the same one

I need three backscenes preferably linked a 10ft, 18ft and 28 ft so not sure what else is available.

I need gentle hills and maybe the outskirts of a town and its 1960s North Norfolk

I know you can put two together ie:- an A & B variant. As you are in North Norfolk you could contact Model Scenery Supplies who are based at Northrepps as they stock the complete range and have photo sheets you can look at.

The Hills and Dales does a reverse image to give the full length version, and isn't really noticeable once there is a set up in front of it, but it might be an idea to give John at Art Printers a ring with your needs - he is very much a can do person and perhaps be able to suggest something to suit your requirements.

I'd second that. John was extremely helpful when I needed a backscene and can provide bespoke items to order.

Here is his website  http://www.art-printers.co.uk/- but I'd strongly recommend talking to him. When I wanted a bespoke scene - supplied but still lying unused - his answer to an outline question was "the answers yes, what do you  want".

Received a 30 foot 'hills and dales' in sections from them last week - looks great, arrived quickly in NZ. A 'tester' piece is included as well. As noted above, 'tell us what you want' is part of the service.

The polypropylene self adhesive version is to my mind a better option than the paper one - easier, in a relative term, to apply to a backing and less prone to surface damage.

Just received the full hills and dales here in Australia

 

Terrific service and even got VAT refund before i realized.

 

What a difference this makes to the "natural" setting of pipes, bricks and stuff.

I found out out that model scenery supplies do these and you can join several.

Also the owner of this company lives less than a mile from me so no postage

We used the hills and dales scene on our club layout Battersby North End some years ago (based on Battersby in North Yorkshire so quite appropriate). As you say it makes a massive difference to the layout and provides a great backdrop to photos.

You need one with captain Cook's monument and ingleby incline on it
