Broadoak
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4yR-5bbFivU An interesting film featuring a vehicle many of us have on our layouts. The other vehicles shown in the film are of interest to anyone modelling the 1950’s. Regards Peter M

rue_d_etropal
I had heard of this film. It was available on videotape, and as far as I can tell was never brought out on DVD. Pity, as the copy online does not come out very well when downloaded. Also I had assumed it was a film made for the 1948 introduction of the Scarab, but I think there is something to indicate it was actually made in 1957. Only reason for later date could be Leyland takeover of Scammells. My grandfather was works manager at Scammells, and very much involved in both the original MH and the Scarab, but I think he must have been a bit camera shy as he is never in any works photos or this film.
