School Lane is a layout built to 4mm scale 00 gauge. It is in 4ft long by 2ft wide in sections and lightweight, constructed from Plywood, it is quick and simple to erect and knockdown.

This is a project with various members of the club being responsible for laying the track and wiring an individual board.

So it is teaching individual skills that they may not have have had before.

It is equipped for full DCC operation.

Operational periods can range from early 1950s to the latest types.
