ON30 Bachmann 2-6-6-2 Dcc Sound

Hello, I was on here years ago, and just by chance met someone via Ebay locally that is a member. So I thought I'd come back and look around.

 

Anyway, I have a question for anyone who's running one of the Bachmann ON30 2-6-6-2 on Dcc and added Sound. I love this loco, but it hates curves, so as I'm starting a new layout have ensured it only has Radius 3 curves

to contend with. I'm hoping that when I get the main line loop finished I can get it run in, and it will settle it's self down.Anyway, the version on the 2-6-6-2 I have has Dcc, but not sound. Has anyone tracked down the Sound

board they use in these Locos, or is it the same board as the 2-4-4-2???? I know I can get a Tsunami 2 soundboard that does articulated sound, but this seems the only option at the moment, as I can't seem to find a

Bachmann sound board to plug in. (I haven't had the tender apart BTW yet as I seem to be working all the time at the moment.).

Any help would be good. Cheers....

I've rechiped all my Bachmann locos (2-6-6-2/2-4-4-2/ 2-8-0 etc) as the Bachmann sound chips are very basic on the sound and motor control side, the easiest way is just to add an 8 pin plug to the Tsunami 2.
