Knightwing OO platform kit - any prototype examples of its construction style?

I bought a Knightwing platform kit

 

 

yet to add the kit's coping stone edges, however the moulded side walls appear to have a concrete pillar framework with brick inserts.

 

However, I'm unable to locate an example of a prototype station that has that arrangement, can you please advise me?

I don't know the answer to your question, but you could do worse than phone Knightwing and ask the chap who runs it. I had a very entertaining conversation with him not long ago about that diesel tank they do ...

I might call Knightwing,

or, modify the platform once I've finalised plans for its use on a future layout.

 

Incidentally, having looked through loads of photos in my books and online images, haven't come across any prototypes resembling what they modelled.
