A tempting line-up of layouts and traders. Looking forward to 5 May.

That's that done for another year.

We had over 400 through the door, the numbers were up on last year so that's good.

A big thank you to all who exhibited and  attended.

I was way too busy to even think of  taking photos. Any one take any?

Very enjoyable show. Thanks to everyone involved.

Just took a few layout shots of Crossness and Wensleydale. Really liked the way Kyle of Lochalsh had been done as a micro layout. Got a couple of books from the B17 Trust stand as well :)

A very enjoyable show and I'm looking forward to next years show at the new venue. I hope the accident just outside the venue about lunchtime didn't cause any problems or for that matter didn't involve anyone to do with the show.

I would like to extend my thanks to Andrew and all the organisers for the show and everyone who stopped past to say hello - thanks for the kind comments re my layout.

A very friendly show and nice venue - bacon sandwich was good but didn’t taste the BBQ lunch as had to order in a Domino’s pizza as part of the deal with my youngest son for helping ;) We were packed and away in about 20 minutes with a good journey back home.

The layout had a few gremlins namely one of the turnouts which will now be rebuilt and replaced - thanks to Nigel Fisher on the adjacent demo stand for his advice on 2mm track building.

A few pics from myself as below...concentrating on the BR Blue stuff of course ;)

I noted the mayorial car there when I arrived, it was still there when I left.

Yes Phil

When I met him from his car I thought that He and his wife would be staying for about a 1/2 hour visit, about 2 hours later they left.   I don't think there were many of the traders or Exhibitors that they did not speak to.  They really enjoyed the show their only regret was not bringing their grandson.

We invited the Mayor here in Basildon last year (and the year before) and he showed a great deal of interest. However I'm not sure that he will still be mayor in July when we hold our exhibition given the recent council election results.

His driver loved the class 37 sounds...he said it was just how he remembered tractors :good:
