Accessing and Searching the previous RMWeb archive

I'm trying to locate a thread that discussed the former GER restaurant cars as the lasted into the 1960s.

 

I can get to the old site but when I log in I get thrown out again after briefly being shown the main page with the search box. Logging in again has the same result.

 

So I'm able to access the forum index but am stymied for locating anything at all by being unable to search for it.

 

Help/advice please.

Thanks very much Martin - that's the one. I am an atheist as far as Google is concerned, abhorring it and all its works, in the same way I do not use most other social media.
