Peter Crawford
What's the best choice for a scenic break on a 'raised arches' layout? I'm modelling Lyon Part-Dieu, very much a King's Cross Edinburgh Waverley of France, in terms of importance. The layout (even in 1:160 N) would need 4m-ish for a decent length station of just under 1km. Any help with managing this giant or the scenic break appreciated! RMweb Premium Mark Forrest Posted June 8, 2018 RMweb Premium Share Posted June 8, 2018 I'm not familiar with the prototype, presume it's this place? http://www.serl.fr/phototheque2/Phototheque-SERL/ZAC-de-la-Gare-de-la-Part-Dieu I'd tackle the scenic break problem by displaying the layout relatively high, so the track is close to eye level and exiting the scene behind a view blocker building - would that work?
