david.hill64
Today was spent as planned. The frame parts are going through the paint shop and I have been detailing the body. Not much more to do now. Edited August 18, 2018 by david.hill64
david.hill64
Work continues, though whether I finish before my flight tomorrow evening is another issue. Water gauge added to tender: Obviously some cleaning up to do here! Tender chassis assembled: Bogie assembled and waiting final coat of paint: Frames awaing pickups and wheels etc: Cylinder assembly Motion bracket: This is waiting the fitting of the expansion link before the overlays are added. Then the cylinders and motion brackets with crosshead assemblies were reintroduced to the frames and the slidebars soldered to the motion brackets. The whole assembly is screwed to the frames and can be removed. Edited August 25, 2018 by david.hill64
david.hill64
I managed to meet the deadline of getting Sir Bors ready for the Gauge O Guild show at Telford, but like an idiot I forgot to take any photos, so we will need to wait until he emerges form the paint shop. Next up? Jersey Lily or J6.
Rob Pulham
I may have a Jersey Lilly in the offing at some point but it won't be until next year now - A David Andrews Princess follows the J6.

N15class
Absolutely cracking model. It's very tempting. Now how many made it to King Arthur country west of Exeter?
