RMweb Premium cessna152towser Posted June 29, 2018 RMweb Premium Share Posted June 29, 2018 (edited) Wagon came with a job lot of Peco 00 Wonderful Wagons. Peco did issue a Thomas Muir, son and Patton wagon but this is not a Peco. Thomas Muir overlay is paper and not embossed card. Body is made from balsa, as is the bar between the bottoms of the axleboxes.. Chassis is different from the Peco Wonderful Wagons which came along with this one. Outer ends are plastic, centre is a metal weight. Can anyone identify the chassis Edited June 29, 2018 by cessna152towser
Darryl Tooley
Looks to be a 3H chassis, from the chunky buffers and the arrangement of the weight. The underframe used in most of their kits was available separately. D
RMweb Gold Joseph_Pestell Posted June 29, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 29, 2018 Before my time, but didn't Peco do some earlier wagon kits before the "Wonderful" wagons?
BernardTPM
The printed sides there are from Merco sheet MEG07. Edited June 29, 2018 by BernardTPM
Golden Fleece 30
I can confirm what Bernard has said, it is a Merco litho. I only just purchased mine a couple of months ago.Garry Edited June 29, 2018 by Golden Fleece
