RMweb Gold Tim Hall Posted June 29, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 29, 2018 I used to live in Costa del Redcar, Birdsall Row, just down from the Tropical House, and easy sprinting distance from Redcar Central. Decent view from the house as well.....

RMweb Premium Legend Posted July 6, 2018 RMweb Premium Share Posted July 6, 2018 My Aunt and Uncle lived in Redcar, would it be Arundel Street? It was back in the 70s and we used to visit during the summer holidays. I thought it was a great place. To get to it you had to travel for what seemed like miles and miles through Chemical works, steelworks etc . It was very impressive . Then you got to this seaside town that was really well kept. From memory one main shopping street a block back from the promenade . I remember a model shop just off the main street. Used to stare for ages in its window. I think there was also one up by the bus station at the end of the road heading out to Marske . Ahh yes memories flooding back of United buses .
