Chubber
Tried to post a 35Kb jpeg to a post, progress bar fills completely, then screen freezes and a message "A web page is slowing down your browser, stop it Y/N?" Page becomes unresponsive and only may be shut down. Happens in Firefox abd Edge. Any ideas? Doug
E3109
I've had fairly similar issues when using my laptop, although I have it installed I don't use Firefox generally. Who knows? It may be an issue with your device, I think that was the problem in my case a while back. I don't want to hijack your thread Chubber, but I'll add that when posting pics via my works iPad they usually appear upside down, no idea why. RMweb Gold Matt C Posted July 1, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted July 1, 2018 I've had fairly similar issues when using my laptop, although I have it installed I don't use Firefox generally. Who knows? I don't want to hijack your thread Chubber, but I'll add that when posting pics via my works iPad they usually appear upside down, no idea why. The Ipad knows which way up you held it when you took the photo and will display the photo right side up regardless, but this information isnt included in the picture info when you upload it so the forum will display it the way up the lenz was when the picture was ACTUALLY taken. So if the Camera lenz is upside down, thats the way it will display. To cure it, take a picture on the tablet ( note where the lenz is) upload and see if it is upside down, If so rotate Ipad through 180 degrees and take another, upload and check it is right side up and in future ALWAYS hold the tablet this way up when taking photos. Note if you try portrate, the photos will be on thier side ! Unfortunately Apple dont make it easy to identify which way up the photo was taken and not easy find how to rotate them either Sorry Chubber back over to your problem mate and on that one. . No idea

That's an Apple thing. Open the images in whatever image viewer you use and rotate them so that they show the wrong way up. Save them like that. Now rotate them again to be the right way up and save again. Now they will post the right way up. Andi

RMweb Gold 88C Posted August 1, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 1, 2018 I must admit that I had trouble tonight, the first attempt the photos didn't appear even though the file names were there as I typed. I did manage three separate posts each with one picture. Brian

I thought it was me and my vast computer knowledge that had cocked something up, so I haven't bothered attempting to post pics. Mike.
Chubber
Will only work with one picture at a time, i.e. in 'old ' system. Perhaps I need to upload 'Flash 9'? Doug
