In Fridays newsletter it said there ‘might’ be a new announcement to coincide with the book signing. As the book is a modern traction publication(I think) likely to be some sort of modern wagon I suspect.

No harm in some unadultered frothing though.....

Am hoping something pre nationalisation as there has been lots of post nationalisation stuff coming out of Cornwall recently.

Do we really need more froth, followed by I'm taking my toys away as its not I want followed by the thing is wrong because this or that is wrong, followed by wailing about anything else. Rant over, sorry, lol. I'll get my coat.

It's par for the course, I wish people wouldn't announce announcements.

What book is it? Or is that part of the announcement ?

The Kernow email says it’s this:

Cornish Traction by Stephen Heginbotham £14.99

Afraid I don’t know how to paste the picture of the front cover but there are lots of blue and grey diesels on the front.

So you don't want anyone to announce announcements?

Then how are we meant to know that there is going to be an announcement.....

Some people don't quite understand marketing.

I don;t mind marketing, but it all gets too over the top and just turns into another row.

The book is this one. They are having an event at the shop for the launch.

So I would guess that the announcement is something relevant to the book, which seems to be about BR Blue diesels.

Looks like that could be another useful tome to add to the bookshelf :)

Was the author a Railtrack / NR M.O.M at some point?
