Coppercap
Why on earth do they run all the trains far too fast? Good modelling spoilt by ' train set' speeds!
RMweb Premium ba14eagle Posted July 15, 2018 RMweb Premium Share Posted July 15, 2018 Why on earth do they run all the trains far too fast? Good modelling spoilt by ' train set' speeds! Bit of a sweeping statement, but doesn't most N gauge need plenty of beans? The average, off the shelf loco, only seems to have 2 speeds - stop or Go - quickly! The average, off the shelf loco, only seems to have 2 speeds - stop or Go - quickly! Well I've seen plenty of better controlled N over the years! The realistic running speeds of the trains is just as important as the static part of the layout.
SDJR7F88
Why on earth do they run all the trains far too fast? Good modelling spoilt by ' train set' speeds! On the first N Gauge layout the owner had kindly let some young visitors to the show have a go at running the trains (which happened to be the time I was filming the layout). Was nice to see the exhibitors getting Children and their Parents involved
