Bemo Ge6/6 I pantograph type

I recently bought a used Bemo Ge6/6 I in red livery named Scuol. It runs very well. However I notice it has the early style twin arm pantograph rather than the single arm type in the Bemo catalogue or prototype pictures. Has the previous owner been switching parts around or did Bemo issue this model in red with this pantograph type at some stage. Just curious!

Your Ge 6/6 II is as Bemo originally produced it and is correct for the period up to the late 1990's when the RhB updated the Ge 6/6 II and Ge 4/4 I to single arm pantographs. Bemo subsequently updated the models.

Hi Brian,

Thanks for explaining that. As my layout will be early 1980's (give or take a few years to include any favourite items) that will be great. A useful fact to have ready for the pundits!
