BSC Consett hopper from Dapol

Recommended Posts

Dapol released one of their 21 ton hoppers in BSC Consett livery, has anyone seen any evidence of this as a real livery?

If it's a Dapol release - it's pretty certain to be pure make-believe.

They have no conscience, but if it sells .................. !!

John Isherwood.

The problem with the range of wagons is that on the hopper fleet is that there are and have been a lots of genuine liveries produced but not necessarily on the correct wagons!

However several not so genuine liveries have also appeared over the years but some appear more genuine than others!

Something wrong with your link there, Mark. That's a load of molasses tank wagons there.

Need to scroll down the page a fair distrance, but the BSC wagons are there.

My oldest friend worked for BSC at Consett during the relevant period. (BSC made him redundant three times before he took the hint) I'll forward him a link and ask him what he thinks.
