Chinese N Scale Lorries From Ebay

On another thread in this subsection of the Forum I was pointed towards a supply of cheap N scale plastic lorry models which are available via Ebay.  These come direct from China via ship and I decided to take the plunge, ordering a pair of articulated lorry's and a pair of smaller ones.

 

I figured for a shade over a fiver for the lot INCLUDING postage all the way from China (how on Earth do they make any money on these?) I thought I would give them a whirl.

 

Four weeks and a slow boat from China later they arrived, slightly mangled not from the long trip from the other side of the World but by my local postie literally ramming them through my letterbox!

 

For a fiver the lot I am very pleased with them.  They obviously need a bit of detailing I think but overall a good base for some decent old fashioned tinkering modelling.
