Bemo sound chassis in Ge 4/4 I

Gentlemen,

 

i'm after some advice, I got a new chassis for the Ge 4/4 Is & IIs from ebay and adjust the sides of the grill mouldings as described in Bemo post 47, but I cant get the body to fit.  Has anyone done the same swap over? Does the top of top body moulding under the roof need some cutting away? Or do I just need to play with moving the wires etc to get it to fit?  Asking before I decide to get my Dremel out

to answer my own question and to help others who may consider the same action, the holes etc on the newer bodies are different from the older ones and so some work is needed
