Blog- Strive for progress, not perfection. - Disassembly continues

Day out yesterday, did manage a bit of time on Pickering station (NYMR) yesterday and picked up some back issues of Hornsby magazine that contained scalescenes buildings. I like scalescenes, but cutting out the windows is a killer for me, but the textures are worthwhile investments for adapting and additions.

The doors are a write off, so I’m putting in some new old ones.

Turned the strip over and added some corrugated sheet and wood clapboard.

Checked how the floors fit and they seem fine so far. Had to scavenge some ‘glass’ from several unused rolling stock boxes, gave them a spray with Matt varnish to dirty them up a bit. Hoping to have the walls up by the end of the weekend leaving the roof to do. I knew O-level engineering drawing would come in handy one day, calculating true lengths for the intersecting rooves has never been so useful.

Thanks for looking.
