RMweb Premium MrTea Posted November 5, 2018 RMweb Premium Share Posted November 5, 2018 I enjoyed the show too. There was a good mix of layouts and themes. In relation to Graham’s comment about families attending as a result of watching current C5 series, I took my daughters (8 and 4) and they had a good time. One thing that impressed me was how a number of the operators took time out to engage with them and answer their questions. I think it helps when exhibitors have gone to the effort to highlight some of the details that are within the scenes with the younger audience in mind - San Maria Gandia was a good example of this. Provision of portable steps for the little ones was also a nice touch from the organisers. I hope the club sees an increase in membership enquiries as a result of their efforts. RMweb Gold RedgateModels Posted November 5, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted November 5, 2018 Well, it was my 10th year at Wycrail. First time in 2009 with a late entry Summat Colliery. The club have kindly asked me back every year since to help out and save for the appearance of Fourgig East a couple of years ago, I have lugged tables, patrolled the halls or helped Chris Nevard out operating his masterpieces. It really is a great show, ace people, wish they or I were nearer LOL Well worth the 270 mile round trip. Roll on 2019
