Brass Etched Windscreen Wipers for Dapol 08

Hello All,

 

A question.

 

Nice as the Dapol 08 shunter is, it doesn't have any windscreen wipers fitted nor any supplied in a detailing pack.

 

I've had a look at several suppliers - e.g. Shawplan - but haven't been able to find any.

 

Old posts mention MMP detailing kits - but again I can't find these.

 

Can anyone help on this one?

Someone on RMWeb produced some - can't be bothered to go all the way back but mentioned on page 61 and earlier.

I made some from scratch using bits of 0.5mm NS wire soldered together.  Not all 08s had wipers, look for the motor housing on the forward cabin pillar.

Giles of this parish does some laser cut ones for both the front and rear screens.
